Leslie joined Armstrong McGuire in 2015 and works on executive searches, board planning retreats, and program assessments on behalf of the firm. She is the director of the graduate Public Administration, Public Policy, and Nonprofit Management Program at Adler University’s Online Campus. She has consulted with a wide variety of nonprofits and for government agencies focusing on the assessment and enhancement of organizational and system strengths.
Leslie has many years of experience in the program and policy arena. She was the first director of the NC Domestic Violence Commission, which later merged with the NC Council for Women. She established a consulting business in 2004 providing services to the NC Administrative Office of the Courts, the Z. Smith Reynolds Foundation, the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, Duke University, the NC Community Foundation, the NC Pediatric Society, Prevent Child Abuse NC, and the Center for Child and Family Health.
In her volunteer work, Leslie served as Vice-Chair of the Lucy Daniels Center, co-founded a Giving Circle, and has been a Team Member of the Leukemia & Lymphoma Woman of the Year Campaign.
After residing in Raleigh, North Carolina for 20 years, Leslie now lives with her husband Paul, in Traverse City, Michigan.
