Leslie is the Director of Learning Services for the Dorothy A. Johnson Center for Philanthropy at Grand Valley State University in Grand Rapids, Michigan. Since 2004, she has consulted with a wide variety of nonprofits, foundations, and for government agencies focusing on the assessment and enhancement of organizational and system strengths. Prior to her consulting work, she was the first director of the NC Domestic Violence Commission, which later merged with the NC Council for Women.
She is a past director of the graduate Public Administration, Public Policy, and Nonprofit Management Program at Adler University’s Online Campus.
Leslie joined Armstrong McGuire in 2015 working on executive searches, board planning retreats, and program assessments on behalf of the firm.
After residing in Raleigh, North Carolina for 20 years, Leslie now lives with her husband Paul, in Traverse City, Michigan.
