Nick earned Bachelor of Arts Degrees in Religious Studies and in Political Science from NC State University. During his undergraduate experience he found a passion for the public sector and nonprofit organizations. After completing his undergraduate degrees, Nick returned to NC State, this time earning a Graduate Certificate in Nonprofit Management and a Master of Public Administration with a concentration on nonprofits.  

Nick learned the impact of nonprofits first-hand through his internships with Activate Good where he matched youth volunteers to nonprofit organizations across the sector.  Nick’s work with a law firm and a faith community also gave him a view of the important and powerful alignment between nonprofit organizations and other community leaders.

In his free time Nick enjoys playing any sports, cooking, and spending time with his friends and family!  He lives with his fiancée and their Plott Hound, Luna, in New Bern, NC where his fiancée works as an Aerospace Engineer.
