As Vice Chancellor for Development and Foundation President at the North Carolina School of Science and Mathematics, Barb led the institution’s first-ever $50 million comprehensive campaign, now projected to close at 190% of goal. Previously, she managed $250 million in annual revenue as National Director of Foundation and Federated Giving at the American Red Cross. Recognized as AFP Global’s Outstanding Fundraising Professional in 2017, Barb will complete her doctorate in philanthropic leadership from the Lilly School of Philanthropy in 2026 as a member of its inaugural doctoral cohort. A Certified Fundraising Professional (CFRE), she brings deep expertise in major, planned, and blended giving.
