Brian has served on the Board of Directors for the Raleigh Chamber of Commerce, as Chair of the Board for the Downtown Raleigh Alliance (DRA), and on the Board of Advisors for the Alexander Family & Poyner YMCAs. His impactful service has been honored with the Volunteer of the Year from the YMCA of Charlotte and the Distinguished Leadership Award from the DRA. Brian was also a key member of the delegation that won the bid for the 2029 World University Games for North Carolina.

Brian holds a Bachelor's degree from Bloomsburg University, and both a MBA and Ph.D. in Organizational Communication and Culture from Ohio University. Committed to continuous growth, he also completed the prestigious Institute for Educational Management at Harvard University and earned a certificate in Executive Coaching from the Spiro Coaching Institute.

Brian is joyfully married to his wife Kristen and the proud dad of three amazing young women and one son-in-law.
