A strategy consultant with nearly 15 years of experience across the for-profit and nonprofit sectors, Emily has worked with clients around the world to improve their organizations and deepen their impact.
After graduating from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with a dual degree in Business and German, Emily started her consulting career at Ernst in Young in NYC as part of the Banking and Capital Markets team. After pursuing an MBA in Munich, Germany, she transitioned to the social sector, working for a nonprofit consulting firm in New York with a focus on strategic planning and executive coaching. A love for travel and adventure led Emily and her husband to Sydney, Australia, where she worked for eight years at Australia’s largest social impact consultancy, Social Ventures Australia. At SVA, Emily supported over 75 clients in strategic planning, impact measurement, program design and other capacity building projects. Though she has spent the last ten years working across issue areas, she has extensive experience in mental health, disability, aged care, and domestic and family violence.
At the end of 2024, Emily returned to Charlotte, NC so that she and her husband could raise their daughter around family. When she’s not supporting clients, Emily spends time running (more like a slow jog), biking (the e-biking sort),attending estate sales (who doesn’t like a treasure hunt) and chasing after her daughter.
