Jean brings a practitioner’s perspective to her advisory work, shaped by years of hands-on board leadership, capital campaign experience, and cross-sector collaboration. She is known for helping boards become confident strategic partners, strengthening governance systems, and translating ambitious goals into practical, achievable plans that support leaders and teams.
A writer and storyteller at heart, Jean also contributes to thought leadership across the nonprofit sector through podcast production, case development, and narrative strategy. She is a graduate from St. John’s University (Queens, NY). Jean lives in Cornelius, North Carolina, with her husband, Tom, and their goldendoodles.
