After graduating from the School of Journalism and Mass Communication from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, Melanie entered the world of non-profits.

She has worked for over 20 years with national and local non-profits. With a background in fundraising, communications and administrative support at the executive level, Melanie brings a wealth of knowledge and results-driven approach to each project. Through a combination of strategic insight and hands-on support, she helps clients build sustainable foundations, allowing them to focus on what truly matters—achieving their mission and vision.

Melanie and her husband, Nevin, live in Hillsborough with their two daughters, a couple of cats and a lizard. When she’s not supporting non-profits, you can find Melanie curled up with a good book, spending time with friends, or being “mom taxi”.
