As a CPA providing financial guidance and strategy in the for-profit sector for many years, Mickey felt a strong desire to give back to her community by transitioning to the non-profit world. In her roles as Chief Financial Officer and Interim Chief Executive Officer at the Food Bank of Central and Eastern NC, she gained valuable insights into the unique challenges and opportunities that nonprofits face. She joined the Armstrong McGuire team to leverage her expertise and support other organizations in maximizing their potential. 

In her free time, you might spot her walking around her Wilmington neighborhood or reading a book by the beach. When working remotely, she also enjoys the company of her Malti-poo, Biscuit, in her home office.
