Shaleiah Fox is an award-winning executive leader, community advocate, and curator of philanthropy based in the Triangle. Her career spans all sectors - public, private, higher education, and where she is most passionate - the nonprofit sector.
Shaleiah served in senior advancement and external relations roles with mission-driven institutions, including the University of Texas at Austin and Thinkery, where she served as Chief Advancement Officer and Chief Campaign Officer. Across these roles, Shaleiah has led comprehensive fundraising, communications, and engagement strategies, guided capital campaign planning, and partnered closely with boards and executive teams to strengthen organizational sustainability and growth. She is energized when working with organizations that are excited about building strong fundraising systems that support an authentic culture of philanthropy
Shaleiah believes deeply in showing up in the place she and her family call home and serves on the United Way of the Greater Triangle Board of Directors, co-chairing the board’s philanthropy committee, the steering committee member for Women’s United, the RDU Giving Tuesday’s BIG Give Planning Committee, a Goodmon Fellow, and spends many mornings and afternoons at her children’s school, serving as the PTA Treasurer and supporting students and teachers in the classroom. A committed partner and mother of two, her heart and life are full.
