If done correctly, board service is a serious commitment of time, energy and expertise. It should also be a terrifically rewarding experience for the board member.
We’ve all heard it before…..“Let’s add a new event!” or “We have too many events!” or ”Our organization is suffering because our annual event did not raise the money it used to.”
Yep! Summer is just about over. Our son is back at college and our daughter has started her senior year in high school. We will be lucky to get one last long weekend at the beach over Labor Day, but that's about it.
