Please join us in welcoming Julie Campbell to the Armstrong McGuire team as our new Director of Partnership Engagement.

Julie brings a wealth of experience in relationship-building, strategic partnerships, and community engagement, aligning seamlessly with our core values of integrity, experience, relationships, and results. She will specifically help us live more deeply into our value of relationships.  

Julie will work in partnership with our team to strengthen relationships with current partners and to develop new relationships across the region. "We are thrilled to welcome Julie to the firm—her talents, energy, and fresh perspective make her a great addition to a great team,” said Co-founder and Principal Bert Armstrong. “She strengthens our mission to equip the social sector for greater impact, helping clients unlock the potential in communities we serve.”  

For the past eight years, Julie served as Director of Community Partnerships at SHARE Charlotte, where she played a pivotal role in fostering collaboration between local corporations, nonprofits, consultants, and media outlets. Through her leadership, SHARE Charlotte developed a robust professional development program for 700+ partner nonprofits and secured over 100 media segments annually to amplify the voices of Charlotte’s nonprofit community.

“I am excited to build upon the relationships I have developed with the nonprofit sector in the greater Charlotte area and expand those partnerships across the region,” said Campbell. “I cannot imagine a better team to grow with than Armstrong McGuire.”

Julie’s career began in public relations after graduating from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She gained experience as an Account Executive for Katz Communications and later at Pfizer Pharmaceuticals before finding her true passion—supporting the nonprofit sector.  

A North Carolina native, Julie grew up in the mountains and spent 27 years in Charlotte before relocating to Raleigh with her husband, Bruce. Together, they have five adult children spread across the country. Julie enjoys outdoor adventures like hiking, skiing, and exploring the greenway with her beloved Bernese Mountain Dog, Gordon.
