Armstrong McGuire and LevRidge Resources to Merge

Bert Armstrong
Co-Founder & Principal

Raleigh-based Armstrong McGuire and Charlotte-based LevRidge Resources will merge their teams and services to better support the nonprofit sector throughout the state and nation.

LevRidge Resources founder, Kathy Ridge will join the Armstrong McGuire team as Director of Interim Management Services in January 2023.

Ridge will lead Interim Management Services which pairs interim executive directors, finance directors, or development directors with organizations that are in transition. She will also lead the Interim Management Institute, a training and certification program for interim nonprofit executives. Certified executives are part of the Interim Management Services Network and are available to serve in interim roles to support nonprofits as they journey through an executive transition.

Co-founding Principal Bert Armstrong said, “Merging Armstrong McGuire and LevRidge Resources is the perfect complement. Through her Interim Management Institute and network, Kathy has built an amazing group of leaders who are well-equipped to step into organizations during time of transition to help them smoothly navigate the journey until a new executive leader is hired.”

As a leading national nonprofit consulting and executive search firm, Armstrong McGuire is regularly asked for help with interim leadership. Conversely, LevRidge Resources is renowned for its interim leadership work and is often asked about the best support for a search.

LevRidge Resources Founder Kathy Ridge said, “It is such a natural marriage. Joining forces with Armstrong McGuire positions us to grow our impact on the nonprofit sector together.”

Armstrong McGuire is a leading executive search, fundraising and strategic advising firm that believes in unlocking the potential of nonprofit leaders and the communities they serve. Founded in 2004, its diverse team of advisors work with clients and leaders to align strategy, optimize operations, build capacity, and lead nationwide searches that bring supremely talented individuals to high-impact organizations.

LevRidge Resources was founded in 2012 with the mission to advance nonprofits by strengthening their leadership, business model, and mission for a sustainable future. Lift Connection is a signature service of LevRidge which includes the Interim Management Institute that trains, certifies, places, and supports interim nonprofit executives and the organizations they serve.
