Tim Brown joins the Methodist Home for Children’s Advancement Team where he interfaces with high-level donors, cultivating relationships and assisting those considering major gift opportunities in support of children and families served by MHC. Tim’s career path includes special positions as an elementary school teacher, local pastor, writer, executive coach, and most recently as a gift officer and mission ambassador with the Lutheran School of Theology of Chicago.

Family Promise of Wake County named Scott Ferris as its new executive director after a nationwide search. Scott transitioned into this new role October 20th.  He was formerly the executive director of Lorain County Children Services in Elyria, Ohio.

Tonita Few will join the IPMW team November 2nd as their first development director. Tonita was previously with Boys & Girls Clubs of Wake County. She brings a great blend of passion for IPMW’s mission and experience soliciting gifts from individual, corporate, and foundation constituents as well as event management.

Cardinal Gibbons High School welcomed Raleigh native Anna Hosea as Director of Advancement earlier this month. Anna brings more than 16 years of development experience, including directing the advancement program at Holton-Arms School in Bethesda, Maryland, leading development efforts at Ravenscroft School in Raleigh, NC, and, more recently, consulting with a number of Triangle-area nonprofits.

Tina Markanda joined The Cannon Foundation in September, having previously served as executive director of The Foundation for a Healthy High Point and a health care program officer at The Duke Endowment, as well as other positions in the corporate and health care sectors. In these roles, Tina has supported initiatives related to adolescent pregnancy prevention, behavioral health, early childhood, senior adult health, emergency medical services, and small and rural hospitals.

Previously with Wake Forest University’s Schools of Law and Business, Stephanie is also a former journalist and has experience working with multiple brands in the education, home furnishings, hospitality, financial services, and healthcare industries.

Pamela C. Spaulding has been selected as the business manager of the Z. Smith Reynolds Foundation.  Pamela is a management professional with more than 20 years of experience in operations, process improvement, design of internal controls, project management, and accounting including general accounting, budgeting, cost accounting, auditing, and financial analysis.

Shana Tucker joined Kidznotes as their executive director in September. Shana is an arts leader, cellist, singer-songwriter, teaching artist, and arts advocate with local, regional, national, and international experience. Adeline Wolfe started October 5th with Mountain Housing Opportunities in Asheville, NC as a real estate developer. Adeline was formerly with Enterprise Community Partners’ Gulf Coast Office and has her Masters in Sustainable Real Estate Development and Preservation Studies from Tulane University.

Bob Wynn joins Third Street Education Center in Greenville, NC following 23 years in vocation ministry, most recently as a student pastor for ten years and campus pastor for three years at Covenant Church in Winterville, NC. He brings a wide array of ministry and program planning experience together with deep experience as a coach, mentor, and teacher.
