Friday, during my annual eye exam, I saw an email that caught my eye.

I started the day with an article from The Chronicle of Philanthropy showing that nonprofits are the third-largest employer in America with 11.9 million employees. I was so intrigued that I had to dig deeper.
I have a confession to make. I am extremely involved with an organization I care deeply about, and they don’t have a strategic plan. “Hi, my name is Mendi, and my favorite organization does not have a plan.”
